Academic Integrity: Academic integrity is a set of standards and procedures that are followed during the training process to ensure that the objectives of distance training are achieved and that the desired educational results are obtained from it, in terms of the practical participation of the trainee, which leads to an increase in the benefit reflected on the trainee, striving to achieve the institute’s mission to raise the knowledge and technical level of trainees. • Commitment to the agreed timetables and content in presenting the courses. Forms of Academic Integrity Violations: • Submitting forged documents or changing the trainee's data for the purpose of fraud and deception. Actions Taken Regarding Violations of Academic Integrity:
The institute works to achieve academic integrity through:
• The necessity of the trainee's participation in practical applications in accordance with the training plan for the course.
• Checking the attendance of trainees and adherence to attendance rates when issuing certificates.
• Respect for intellectual property.
• Informing the trainee of all the policies and procedures followed during the training.
• Procedures for periodic evaluations during sessions.
• Continuous improvement of the performance of the training process from the reality of the trainees' experiences.
• The student's exploitation of the work of others and the illegal use of their materials.
• Intellectual theft and plagiarism resulting from quoting the phrases and works of others without reference to them.
• Misuse of academic aid and the exploitation of a student's work by a colleague who provides him with academic assistance.
• The trainee's dependence on another trainee within his group to complete an assignment or a joint project.
• Impersonation of others or the student pretending to be someone else in the class, or in a test or exam.
• Illicit use of the resources available to the trainee by the Institute, such as sharing training accounts and his password.
• The trainee's violation of any of the institute's policies.
In the event of a trainee’s violation of the principles of academic integrity, one of the following actions shall be taken:
• Not accepting or approving the business or project submitted by the trainee.
• Depriving the trainee of completing the training.
• Not accepting the trainee's participation in the Institute's courses again.
